The Turks, Reading

Raggedjacks open-mic

"Competing With Scantily Clad Screaming Drunk Women"

I've had an intention to play at The Turks for sometime but events have conspired against me from getting to the fortnightly open-mics until now. It was quite a lively crowd exacerbated with it being "Freshers' Week at the university. Tony Brown did well competing with the scantily clad screaming drunken women that invaded the place at one stage and played a blinder in performing the cover of James' anthemic Sit Down which had them all singing.

I think tonight was probably my best performance of the week. Thanks to Amber (Lobelia Foxburr) for choosing my set of songs:

You've Got The Magic Back

I Shall Wait Forever

Can't Let Go
