The Jolly Anglers, Reading RG1 3EA

open-mic hosted by Tony Brown

"Good to Be Back"

After a brief hiatus it was good to be back at The Jolly Anglers last night. There were many great acts and as usual there was a very nice atmosphere. On my part there was a bit teasing of American Pie hating sound guy Tony Brown which made the connection with the audience. (If there were reason for writing three songs that start G D Em etc surely that must be it?!) I wasn't going to play the song but you know me, if there's a easy card to play I'll play it and actually, having coaxed the landlord to join me on stage, we all all had a great time.

My Set:

Cold Heart

Perfect Day (Lou Reed)

Last Night I Saw You Standing There

American Pie (Don McLean)
