"Getting The Magic Back"

Well what is wrong with me? Another night where I felt it went well? It does feel like something is falling into place at the moment. I know I've praised all my recent sound engineers and that continues with Rob Sowden's sound for me on Sunday; it makes all the difference if you can hear yourself properly and you feel that the sound is not undermining you. Great performances too from Tim Balmford, Phil Morrison and Chris Beales. I remember Chris from when I first started doing open-mics and he impressed with just him and a guitar so it was interesting to see him incorporating an effects pedal. Unfortuantely we didn't get that on video.
