"The Dark Side of Propaganda"
Another excellent open-mic run by Vic Cracknell. It was a bit disappointing that some performers left almost immediately after they had performed but I guess it was their loss as they missed some great performances. (And to be fair, Luke Doggett and I didn't arrive until 8:40pm.) I was particularly impressed by Steve Gratton's (of Rethink Floyd fame) finale of solo renditions of some of the tracks from Dark Side of The Moon.
Oh and what's the dark side of Propaganda? £2.75 for a pint of lemonade! In fairness to Propaganda, it's not the only pub / bar that I've been to recently where I've been shocked at the prices of the soft drinks. I remember a couple of weeks ago I paid £6 for a pint of lager and a coke. I guess it's the way things are these days.
