"Icing on the Cake"

When is it not great to go back to where it all started? Last night was no exception. Warren Larkins knows how to run that pub and make you feel welcome and a valued customer. (I have to say in my experience that's an exception rather than the rule.) Icing on the cake was a lovely compliment as I left, the complimenter will know what I'm talking about and I hope she knows it was really much appreciated.
