Ham And Blackbird, Farnborough, GU14 7LZ

Vic's Buskers open-mic hosted by Vic Cracknell

"Flying Underwear"

Last night was the first time I'd been to the Ham and Blackbird and it's a nice performance area. It was a on the quiet side last night performer-wise but nevertheless there were some great performances from those that were there. Performance of the night must surely go to Francis Green who had the offer of a pretty woman's bra being thrown at him in a exchange for a CD.

In hindsight I really should've made more of the " ooooh ooooh"s that accompanied me on Sympathy For The Devil but I don't yet feel quite on top of the rhythm of the song and there's always the fear that if I start distracting myself it'll all go pear-shaped. Definitely a lost opportunity though. (Though all underwear throwers (or welcome ones) had left by this stage anyway.)

And I so very nearly made it through The Things That She Said without making a mistake on the arpeggios. There I was, close to the end, thinking: "I've made it, I've made it!". And then, TWANG.

My Set:

Sympathy For The Devil (Jagger / Richards)
