Boho at The Hop open-mic hosted by Rob Sowden

Artist-wise it was a quiet night last night, I think perhaps people were out making the most of the sun. However it was good to see Richard and Sarah Lucus with Muz of Dolly and The Clothes Pegs fame perform again. And of course Maija, Phil Morrison (indeed, Phil and Maija did their duet as seen at a previous showcase) and Rob Sowden all put in commendable performances.

My fellow artists say my set was good but to be honest it didn't feel comfortable, certainly not as it has done and perhaps they are being generous. I think I have a problem performing when my head has been stuck in writing, particularly as it has been for the last three days. A bit intense perhaps but I think I'm getting there. However, having missed out on what is probably the only sunny weekend of the year, it does make one wonder why I'm so intent on pursuing this.
