Bat and Ball, Boundstone, Farnham, GU10 4SA

Vic's Buskers open-mic hosted by Vic Cracknell

The last time I was at the Bat and Ball I had a great time and I think on this Thursday night I enjoyed it even more. There were some very good acts. I particularly liked the four piece White Russian's set, and the coolest couple I know, Em and Guy Heape, collectively known as Vernon's friends.

And to cap it all, we ended with a singalong from the man who does such a great job organising these open-mics, Vic Cracknell. With most of the pub singing American Pie, I'm a Believer and more, what more could you possibly ask for? I'm determined to treat some friends and go and see one of Vic's solo shows soon.

As for my performance, I'm surprised how popular Cold Heart is becoming. It looked as if people were getting out of their seats to come and see me. Interest seemed to wane a bit on 'Magic Back which was a bit disappointing as it seemed to be popular the last time I was at The Bat and Ball. I have my own theories about why that might be but it might just be one of those things. On the whole though it was a very enjoyable evening and I left on a high.

Don't forget the gig with Luke Paulo at the Global Cafe on 14th December. More details here.
