Good luck to Patrick Takaya Solomon and the premiere of his film, Finding Joe, in Los Angeles tonight. The film is about Joseph Campbell and his ideas about "following your bliss" and "the hero's journey". An interview with Pat from this week can be found here.

More information (there are some great interviews) and subsequent theatre (cinema) showings can be found on the Finding Joe website here. It's an independent film so distribution is always a challenge and so if you feel you'd like to see the film where you live, please let Patrick know directly on his Facebook page here.

The reason why the film is of interest to www.andrewshearer.com is because Joseph Campbell and his ideas were the inspiration behind the song You've Got The Magic Back, some of the story At The Water's Edge and obviously the At The Water's Edge section of the website. Ostensibly he was a large factor in deciding to do what I'm doing now: more details can be found here.
